Rudy, the Swissminiatur mascot, on tour to discover Ticino

This first stop of the Rudy on Tour 2023 turned out to be a great success!

Locarno was chosen as the first stop on this year’s tour for the friendly Rudy, in combination with the SlowUp event. The squirrel spent the morning on the Piazza Grande greeting his big and small fans and taking part in interesting activities organised by SlowUp, before moving to the Locarno railway station in the afternoon, where he was able to meet visiting tourists and give away some gadgets.

During his visits, squirrel Rudy filled the hearts of his little and big fans with joy, and they stopped to greet him and take a souvenir photo with him.

The next destination of the Rudy on Tour will be Bellinzona, on 20 May 2023, and afterwards also Ascona, Lugano and Mendrisio.
