We recommend arriving by public transport as there are only a limited number of parking spaces near the park.
Please note that these are public parking spaces and subject to payment.
BY CAR
Southerly direction: A2 motorway (Chiasso – Italy) – take the Melide exit and follow signs for Bissone.
Northerly direction: A2 motorway (Chiasso – St Gotthard) – take the Bissone/Campione d’Italia exit and follow signs for Melide.
Coach parking spaces are available in the area adjacent to the park. To ensure everything goes to plan, please contact the facility to make the necessary arrangements.
BY TRAIN
From Lugano: a 7-minute train journey will take you to Melide station, around 200 metres from Swissminiatur park

From Lugano: a 35-minute boat ride will take you to the landing stage in Melide, around 400 metres from Swissminiatur park.

Accessibility
Wheelchair users and disabled visitors are welcome. Swissminiatur occupies a level area and is free from architectural barriers.
Young children
The park is very pushchair friendly and Swissminiatur occupies a level area. Baby changing tables are available in the toilets. There is a play area inside the park to keep our youngest guests entertained.
Picnic area
You are welcome to bring your own food. The park includes a picnic area for your use. A Grottino is present inside the structure and offers economical solutions.
Luggage storage
We can store your bags free of charge at the park souvenir shop.
Dogs
Dogs are admitted free of charge, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for their pet’s behaviour and will be held liable in the event of damage.
Free Wi-Fi
Swissminiatur offers free internet access within the park. Registration is quick and easy and you can make unlimited use of the service!
