Mascot Rudy discovering the capital

The Swissminiatur squirrel visiting the capital of Switzerland. Rudy is looking forward to strolling through the charming streets of Bern’s old town.

Bern: the destination of the fourth leg of Rudy on Tour. The tourist Information office will be welcoming the Swissminiatur mascot on Thursday 12 May. Afterwards, Rudy will move on to the Zytglogge (Clock Tower) to watch the animation of the clock’s mechanical figures at the stroke of the hour, have a look inside and enjoy the breathtaking view of the UNESCO World Heritage old town. As a proud Swiss citizen, squirrel Rudy will also visit the Bundesplatz (the Federal Square).

In the Swissminiatur park in Melide, you can view the faithful reproductions of the Zytglogge and the Bundesplatz (the Federal Square), in the unusual 1:25 scale.

Rudy on Tour is one of the many new additions of the season offered by Swissminiatur, Switzerland’s largest miniature park. The project was created with the idea of letting mascot Rudy discover the country by showing him around the various tourist attractions, cities, and places of interest in Switzerland.
