Swissminiatur on tour with mascot Rudy

This first leg of Rudy on Tour turned out to be a real success!

Rudy first stopped at the cities of Zurich, Rapperswil (SG) and the surrounding area. During three days, from 1 to 3 March, the squirrel spent one afternoon visiting Alpamare and another at the COOP Letzipark Centre. He then travelled to Rapperswil (SG), where he visited the Knies Kinderzoo in the morning, and then Rapperswil Castle in the afternoon, before returning to Swissminiatur in Melide.
During his visits, squirrel Rudy filled the hearts of his little and big fans with joy, and they stopped to greet him and take a souvenir photo with him.

Rapperswil (SG) was a very significant destination, for at the Swissminiatur park it is possible to view faithful reproductions in the unusual 1:25 scale of Rapperswil Castle and the Knie Circus.

Rudy on Tour’s next destination will be Lucerne, on 23 and 24 March 2022, followed by Lausanne, Bern, Chur and Interlaken.
