Fribourg Cathedral
Fribourg Cathedral, dedicated to St Nicholas, is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, it has features typical of this style, such as high cross vaults, elaborate details and large stained-glass windows that allow light to filter through, creating an atmospheric atmosphere.
The main façade is adorned with sculptures and decorations depicting religious scenes and symbolic motifs. The bell tower, some 74 metres high, is one of the most distinctive elements of the cathedral and offers a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings.
