St. Moritz bobsleigh run

The St. Moritz bobsleigh run, known as Cresta Run, is a unique icon in the world of winter sports. It is the only natural bobsleigh run still in existence and is built every year exclusively with snow and ice moulded with extraordinary precision, without the aid of artificial cooling. Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, it stretches about 1.7 kilometres with an altitude difference of 130 metres and features legendary curves, such as the famous ‘Horseshoe’, that test even the most experienced athletes.

Inaugurated in 1904, the Cresta Run has hosted numerous international events, including the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympic Games. Considered to be one of the most technical and challenging tracks in the world, it attracts professionals and enthusiasts in search of adrenaline and speed every year.
