Miniature trains

The Swissminiatur is a unique place where miniature trains come to life on an impressive railway network. The park houses no less than 14 different circuits, on which between 18 and 20 trains run daily, giving visitors a fascinating experience.

In total, the railway network spans 3,560 metres of track, powered by 7,000 metres of electric wires supported by 5,000 poles and 15,000 insulators. The attention to detail is extraordinary: the entire railway line is secured with 142,400 sleepers and no less than 567,000 screws.

Maintenance is a key aspect in ensuring the optimal functioning of the trains: more than 500 wheels are replaced each year, demonstrating the constant attention devoted to the park.
