Uri

    The canton of Uri, located in central Switzerland, is one of the 26 cantons of the Swiss Confederation and one of its founding members, together with Schwyz and Unterwalden, thanks to the Pact of 1291. Rich in history and tradition, Uri is considered the cradle of Switzerland. Its capital, Altdorf, is famous for the legend of William Tell, the Swiss national hero and symbol of freedom and independence.
