We are delighted to announce the arrival of a new miniature in our collection: the Baptistery of San Giovanni Battista in Riva San Vitale, considered one of the oldest religious buildings in Switzerland.
Built between the 4th and 5th centuries, this extraordinary early Christian monument is a valuable historical and spiritual treasure. Its 1:25 scale model has been crafted with great care and precision by our model makers, who have faithfully recreated the architectural proportions and characteristic details of the stones used in its construction.
With this new miniature, Swissminiatur further enriches its exhibition, offering visitors the opportunity to discover up close an architectural gem that preserves over 1,500 years of history.
